I WANT TO STOP SCHOOLING

 

I remember vividly , When I was in JSS3 I told my family I want to stop schooling ! 

Reasons , I don’t know how it works now in junior secondary sch. 

 During my  junior waec I failed my mathematics so I was asked to re-write the subject alone but in our days we don’t repeat the class until you’re clear with the subject you fail then you can proceed to the senior class .. 

 So we went to Alausa ( I can’t recall the location again ) to write my maths again .. 

After the exams we await for my results to be out but it lingered . So my dad and mum decided to take me to a private school instead of wasting my precious time at home .. 

However , the journey didn’t last because of our financial status , during the 3rd term the head teacher sent me packing out of the school amicably .. 

Getting home , my mum and I decided to go back to my former school (the one I failed my maths ) to atleast go back and proceed my education since it’s a model and public school (VETLAND)

Getting there , to our surprise my name was on the senior secondary list already but I didn’t resume because of our ignorance then (I should have resume with my colleagues while waiting for my result ) 

Unfortunately, the counselor said , there’s no way I can be promoted to ss2 because we’re already in 3rd term except I will repeat the class .. 

   I just told my mum , I will rather stop schooling than to repeat (so, I stop and that was what led me to learn tailoring 😁) 

By and by , I changed my mind and I said , fine even at all I want to repeat my class not in my former school, then I switched from vetland to Dairy Farm Secondary SchoolDairy Farm Secondary School to complete my high school and obtain my waec . 

Now look at today , Now a graduate of the first institution in Nigeria Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos( students and aspirants)Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos( students and aspirants). And graduated as the student union president.. 

I’m saying this fir that young champ somewhere finding it difficult to move on with his or her life , pls don’t STOP or Quit you don’t know what God has in store for you ! 

Keep moving 

Don’t quit 

 Maybe some other time , I will share my experiences while on campus ..
